WATER RESISTANT TILES ADHESIVE is a cement based water resistant TILE ADHESIVE  that is specially formulated for floor and wall tiling work on concrete floor substrate and surfaces. The product is ideal for installing ceramics tiles, homogeneous tiles, marble and natural stones to interior and exterior walls and floor.

 

WATER RESISTANT TILES ADHESIVE is use to lay tiles, marbles or natural stones onto concrete render, block work, and rendered brickwork surfaces. It can also be used on walls and floors in both interior and exterior applications.

DIRECTION FOR USE

 

Surface Preparation - All surface of substrates and tiles back-face should be clean, free from oil, grease, dust and others contaminants which may affect adhesion. Dry substrates should be dampened before application.

 

Mixing Mix -  DREB TILE ADHESIVE  should use the clean water and mix thoroughly using a hand-held or mechanical mixer for 3-5 minutes until a uniform paste is achieved and ensure the mix is free from lumps. The mix ratio is add approximately 5 – 6 litres of clean water to 25 kg of DREB TILE ADHESIVE .

 

Coverage - Varies according to surface condition and the build-up required.

The following can be used as an approximate guide: 
 - Using a 4.5mm x 4.5mm notched trowel, approximately 2 kg/m² 
 - Using a 6mm x 6mm notched trowel, approximately 2.5 kg/m² 
 - Using a 10mm x 10mm notched trowel, approximately 3.5 kg/m²

 

Application Method - DREB TILE ADHESIVE can applied by using a notched trowel for application onto the substrate and buttering onto the back-face of the tile to enhance the performance and proper coverage of the adhesive. Tile with deep grove should be properly buttered and ensure the adhesive have proper coverage in the inner grove of the tiles.

 

PACKAGING –  One bag of DREB TILE ADHESIVE  is packed in 25 kg.

 

SHELF LIFE -  Up to 12 months from the date of production.

It must store in dry place free from moisture contact in original sealed packing.
